  • Support for local families

    Tue 30 Nov 2021

School has been working closely over the last couple of years with a Rowley group that helps families in our area.

They are able to offer some fantastic help and support in many areas. See the flyer below for more information.

We have arranged a session in our children's centre on the 1st Monday of every month with Kevin, starting this Monday 6th between 9-11am.

He will be able to offer guidance on how to manage your finances and get the best deals on your utilities, check to make sure that you are receiving any benefits that you are entitled  to as well as support in applying for jobs e.g. helping complete a CV.

Please click here to express an interest in either this session or future ones.

  • School Closure Today 29/11

    Mon 29 Nov 2021

We are forced to close today due to the amount of frozen paths and access to the site. Due to our locality, all of the melted snow has now frozen despite gritting yesterday and this morning.

We have numerous areas of black ice and it is not safe for footfall. I have consulted with the FGB and they have agreed to support this closure on H&S grounds.

I apologise for the delay but we have been on site trying to prepare the access for today's lessons to go ahead - despite the site team's best efforts, we can not guarantee the safety of children and adults on site.

  • Today's Football at the WBA Dome

Wed 24 Nov 2021 Mr Kettle

Watch out Rashford, Grealish and Kane - we have some new football superstars on the scene!

We are very proud of all of our year sixes who were part of today's semi final win at the WBA Dome.

After topping the group with two draws and three wins - only conceding one goal in the process, thanks to some super saves from Aryan - we made it through to the semi final, where it was certainly a nail-biter... However, to save us the agony of penalties, our very own Lionel Messi, Hayder, popped up at the right time to give us a late 1-0 win!

We have now made it through to the finals, which will be played at the start of next year.

Mr Mills is quoted as saying: "I believe it was my calming influence which led to today's success." I think the players will think differently there... :D

    Well done, guys!
