  • Home Learning heroes for June

    Fri 25 Jun 2021

Well done to our second group of Home Learning Heroes at Oakham. You have really impressed your teachers with the amount of home learning you have completed during June.

If you would like to be included in the final draw of this academic year for July's Home Learning Heroes make sure you are reading at home and getting your reading diary signed, logging onto Mathletics, Times table rock stars, Bug Club etc.

You could win one of our fabulous Home Learning Hero t'shirts and a certificate. But also think how much smarter you will be!

  • City road CLOSED on Thursday 1st July

    Fri 25 Jun 2021

We have been made aware that the roadworks are now planned to begin on Thursday 1st July.

Please be aware that road access and parking will be disrupted so please take care when dropping off and collecting children.

Our one-way system will remain in place as usual and we would ask that, where possible, families avoid driving and parking around the school site and walk to school if possible.

    Thank you for your cooperation.

  • Year 5 Home Learning!

Tue 15 Jun 2021 Mr Kettle

Check out some of Year 5's outstanding - and creative in equal measure - Home Learning!

The children were tasked with producing a piece of learning around an area linked to our Geography topic, Extreme Earth.

All the children (and the staff, too) have loved seeing a range of posters and models.

A Home Learning Hero for this month will be a tough pick from this bunch...

Well done to everybody in Year 5 for their efforts - great job!
