  • Confirmed case of Hand, Foot & Mouth Disease in Key Stage Two

    Fri 25 Mar 2022

We have been informed of a positive case of Hand, Foot & Mouth Disease in Key Stage Two.

If your child is feeling unwell, please check for the following signs and symptoms:

    • a sore throat
    • a high temperature
    • loss of appetite
    • mouth ulcers
    • rashes
    • raised spots on hand and feet

The latest guidance on absence from school for children with HF&M disease is for them to return to school once they feel well enough and not to wait until all blisters have healed.

There's been lots of pairs of mismatched foot-warmers being flashed all around school - all for a good cause!

  • A massive thank you

    Fri 18 Mar 2022

A massive thank you today for everyone who wore something red and made a donation for Comic relief. The money is still coming in but we are already up to an amazing £500. This will really make a difference to families at home and abroad. This includes supporting people fleeing the war in Ukraine and other ongoing conflicts.

  • Down's Syndrome Awareness Day 2023

    Fri 18 Mar 2022

We would like everyone in school to wear odd and brightly coloured socks on Tuesday 21st March to celebrate World Down's Syndrome Day 2023.

Children in school will be involved in discussions during the week in their PSHE lessons, raising awareness and promoting 'inclusive' education for all.

  • Red Nose Day 2022 - Friday 18th March

    Mon 14 Mar 2022

On Friday 18th March, we will be supporting the BBC Red Nose Day 2022 appeal. We would like all children to come into school in their own clothes, ideally wearing something red (including noses and hair, if they so wish).

All year-round, the money donated to Comic Relief works hard to support some incredible projects making a change to people's lives across the UK and around the world. In fact, over the past two years, Comic Relief funding has helped to support 11.7 million people.

All donations will be greatly received and will be passed onto Comic Relief to support the amazing work they do, both in the UK and internationally.

    Thank you for your support
