    Thu 25 May 2023

Our 'preloved' school uniform shop has been restocked to include a range of Summer clothes:-

    • Summer dresses
    • Summer 'shorts' dresses
    • Grey shorts

It is located in the foyer area, outside the main office and there are also tracksuits, cardigans, sweatshirts, plimsols and wellies. All items have been kindly donated to school and have been washed and pressed.

By using this facility you will be not only saving money for yourselves but also saving the environment with the reduce, reuse, recycle philosophy.

If you would like to take something from the rail, you can put a small donation in the box but there is no expectation for that and if you are looking for something and the size you need isn't there please speak to Miss Stretton because we have more stock in school.

  • Sun safety

    Mon 22 May 2023

Last week during health week and this week in phase assemblies we have been talking to the children about 'Keeping Safe In The Sun.' The timing of it was good, if weather forecasts are to be believed, because this week the temperature should be in the 20's and sunny.

Children are encouraged during Summer weather conditions to wear a hat and sunglasses and we would ask parents to apply a high factor sun protection cream to any parts of the body not covered by clothing before school. Could you please make sure that hats and sunglasses, as well as all uniform is clearly labelled with your child's name.

  • What a fantastic day!

    Fri 05 May 2023

We all had a fantastic day in school on Friday  making life long memories, leaving a legacy and celebrating the coronation tomorrow of King Charles III.

Every class in the school and 'The Den' planted a fruit tree in 'The King's Orchard,' 4 apple, 4 pear, 4 cherry and 4 plum trees. We can't wait to see them grow and eat the yummy fruit.

Children wore red, white and blue and the rain held off long enough for us to play party games and have refreshments outside.
