• Christmas poster competition winner

  We are delighted to announce that one of the six entries that we posted in the GM2LF Christmas poster competition won. Lewis in Class 7 created the winning design below and will receive a moneybox with the image on and £10. School receives £50 and with this money we have bought a Christmas tree that is outside the main Reception offices for everyone to enjoy. Lewis winning entry will also go out on the Christmas hampers that are going out to some of our local residents this year.

  

• Attendance league tables Week Beginning 29th November 2021

  Total school attendance for last week was just below our whole school target - 93.6%

   

  Congratulations to last weeks class winners who are:-

  FS - Class 3  (96.7%)

  KS1 - Class 4 (95.8%)

  KS2 - Class 9 (100%)

   

  The classes with the best attendance for the half term will get a non uniform day and each week they will be able to display the attendance trophy in the classroom. Also this school year we will be awarding termly 100% attendance certificates and medals for 100% attendance for the school year.

• An Amazing Response to ''Bring-a-Bottle Friday!'

  We've had an amazing response to our 'Bring-A-Bottle' appeal and the Oakham Elves are already busy, preparing our Christmas Drinks Hampers and Raffle Prizes.

   

  Raffle Tickets will be on sale at the EYFS Nativity and KS1 Carol Concert and then, on general sale, before and after school later next week too (£1 per ticket).

   

  All profits will go directly into School Fund and help some of the planned activities and resources for children across the school in Spring 2022.
