  • Macmillan Raffle Cake Winners

    The draw has been made and we are pleased to announce the winners:

    1st Prize - Macmillan Cake - Ava T (Yellow 473)

    2nd Prize - Cava - Kay (Yellow 535)

    3rd Prize - Mary Berry Cake - Laura (Green 978) 

     

    Thank you to everyone who has donated money, cakes and dropped into school today.

     

    You've all helped raise just under a £1000 for an amazing cause with the final total to be announced next week! 

     

    We will be selling the remaining fairy cakes on monday in class at 20p per cake - one per child. 

     

     

  • Macmillan Charity Cake Sale, Raffle and Cake n Cuppa event tomorrow!

    Many thanks go to Chloe B at 'Baked by Chloe' for her amazing donation of this cake; baked especially for our fundraiser in school.

     

    Tickets are 50p each and are available in school and at the 'Cake n Cuppa' event.

     

    Thank you to everyone who has generously donated cakes and 

    we hope to see you all tomorrow between 2:00 - 3.15pm.

     

    It's been a non-uniform day in school and thank you to everyone for wearing something GREEN to show your support for this fantastic charity!

  • Flu Immunisation Nasal Spray

    We will once again be supporting 'Vaccination UK' and NHS England in their roll out of the free flu immunisation for all children from Nursery to Year 6. A team of nurses will be coming into school, all we ask of you is that you complete the consent form fully and return to school by Friday 29th September. The nasal flu vaccine is painless, quick and effective for Primary aged pupils and will protect your child, family and friends from contracting the flu.

  • Lost Property

    2 weeks back at school and this is the pile of lost property and only 6 items had a child's name in and have been returned to their classes.

     

    Please, please, please label your children's school clothing and PE kit, no need for expensive labels write on the label with a permanent marker preferably, or a biro if not.

  • Attendance league tables for this week and last week

    A massive well done to class 15 and Nursery afternoons that have achieved 100% attendance for this week and last weeks attendance. Our school target for attendance is 96% again this year and I am delighted to tell you that we are at 97.5% for the last two weeks.

     

    As Mr Skett says in assembly - "Keep it up!"

  • Pre loved uniform

    We have a large selection of 'pre-loved' uniform in school on a rail by the Reception office. For the next couple of weeks we have displayed a selection of PE kit including plimsols.

     

    If what you are looking for isn't there please don't hesitate to speak to Miss Stretton.

  • Skills for life - Multiply

    There is a new Government initiative called 'Skills for Life - Multiply'

     

    The aim of it is to help families to manage money effectively, to understand bills and to find out about budgeting, saving and banking. It is a 10 week programme, delivered at local venues.

  • GM2LF Christmas hampers

    Big Local Big Feed 2023

     

    Big local Big Feed is back, providing free Christmas dinners to those who may need a bit of extra help this year.

     

    To register for a hamper take your proof of benefit on a day and to a hub listed on the flyer attached.

    Registration will be between 11th September and 6th October 2023. We will not be taking any bookings after this date.

    When you register please ensure you will also be able to collect your hamper between 3pm and 5pm on Friday 22nd December 2023.

    Due to funding this is only for people who live, work, volunteer or have a child attending a primary school in our area. Please see map attached. (The area within the blue boundary)
