  • Poppies in school - Royal British Legion Appeal

    We will be supporting the British Legion Poppy Appeal once again this year by selling poppies and other small gifts in school.

     

    This year each class have been provided with a supply to sell to the children. If you would like your child to buy one please send them into school with your donation.

     

    School House Captains will also be selling a range of small gifts in during lunchtimes to KS2 children (prices are below).

  • GM2LF Christmas poster competition

    The GM2LF Big Local Partnership are once again inviting all schools in the area to take part in our Christmas Poster Design Competition.

    The competition is open to all school children and is split into two categories children aged 3 – 6 and children aged 7 – 11. .

    The two overall winning entries design will be printed on Christmas hamper bags, full of food which will be distributed to local residents just before Christmas. We will also be using designs to create our own Christmas e-cards.

    In addition, the children will each win a money box with their own design printed on and £10 cash.

    The children will also win £50 each for their school.

    Rules

    • To design a Christmas poster, on an A4 sheet of paper
    • Designs can be in any format, paint, crayon, felt tip, etc  The brighter and jollier the better!
    • Each school chooses the 3 best entries for the two age categories, thus 6 in total.
    • The GM2LF Big Local Partnership will organise the final judging of all entries from all schools.
    • Closing date for entries to school is: Wednesday 24th November 2021
    • Winners will be announced: Monday 6th December 2021

  • Spooky moves at the Halloween Disco!

    Our younger children,witches,zombies and cats are busy enjoying the first Halloween Disco of the evening..loads of moaning, groaning and creaking of bones (don't worry, that's just the staff!) to some top tunes from our resident DJ. 

     

    It's Key Stage Two's turn now...is it a full moon tonight? Let's hope so as it's going to get savage on the dance-floor!!
