.
We would like everyone in school to wear odd and brightly coloured socks on Monday 22nd March to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day 2021.
Children in school will be involved in discussions during the week in their PSHE lessons, raising awareness and promoting 'inclusive' education for all.

Following queries from families today, I have written to clarify the current position on Covid-19 testing, especially the LFD self-test kits.
We are looking forward to welcoming all of the children back in to school on Monday . We understand that for some, it will have been a long break from the school routine.
We've attached a useful info sheet on how to reassure any children who might be a little anxious about returning next week.
We are all looking forward to Monday - see you soon!
It's a slightly different WBD this year but we are still celebrating it at Oakham! We've included some links to The World Book Day Youtube channel where authors share their stories and links to some fun Early Years activities.
