Election fever set to sweep Oakham Primary!
We currently use some of the profits generated by the school tuck-shop to sponsor the training of a guide dog called Margo.
We have recently been informed that she has successfully completed all phases of her training and has been placed with a full time owner which means our existing sponsorship has now finished.
With the General Election looming on the horizon and 'Democracy' being a key area in our learning and celebration of 'British Values', we will be holding our own ballot to choose Oakham's next sponsored guide dog.
On Thursday, July 4th, every child and adult at Oakham will have the opportunity to cast their vote and take place in our own election.
Who will it be? Doris, Jasper or Clyde?
