We just had to share this amazing experience with you all! Over the past few weeks, we've been looking after our very own caterpillars, and what a journey it has been. At the start, they were so tiny, and we checked on them every day. Before we knew it, they started eating lots and lots... and kept getting bigger and fatter! It was fascinating to watch how quickly they grew. Some of us couldn't believe just how much they could eat! Then came one of the most exciting moments each caterpillar attached itself and formed a cocoon (chrysalis). We were so curious and patient, waiting and wondering what was happening inside. It felt like a little bit of magic was taking place right in front of us. After some time, the cocoons began to change, and soon enough... out came butterflies! Seeing them emerge was such a special moment. We were all so excited and proud. When it was time to release them, we watched closely. Six of our eight surviving butterflies spread their wings and flew off confidently into the world it was amazing to see them go! The other two needed a little more time and encouragement. We watched patiently as they rested, stretched their wings, and eventually joined the others. We have absolutely loved being part of this whole process. It has taught us so much about life cycles, patience, and caring for living things. The most important lesson we will take away from this experience is that we must always take care of nature no matter how big or small. Even the tiniest creatures deserve our respect and care. Thank you for sharing this journey with us we hope you're as proud as we are!
