Funding has been made available to provide a controlled pedestrian crossing facility along Darbys Hill Road.
The scheme proposes to introduce a Zebra Crossing which will provide safe passage for pedestrians to cross Darbys Hill Road. This will adopt the existing speed table/ patrol crossing point which was made redundant 2 years ago.
A 21 day consultation period commenced on 14th October, 2021. This consultation period allows representations to be made by local residents on the scheme proposals.
I would strongly urge our families to engage with this consultation and support the much needed zebra crossing project. A plan of the proposed works is available to view HERE.
