Next week there is a annual national initiative called 'Anti Bullying Week.' Children will take part in a virtual assembly and activities and discussions in class around "Everyone being different but everyone being equal." For part of the programme children are encouraged to wear odd socks as a physical representation of difference but we will NOT be doing that at this time because we do take part in that later on in the year when we support 'Downs Syndrome Awareness Day.' There is a parents pack that you may find interesting with various activities and items for discussion that would be suitable to take part in with your child/children and to share with you what your child has been experiencing in school.
