11th November - We will Remember them
At 11 O'Clock, we paused our busy school day to remember those who sacrificed so much to secure the freedom and values that we enjoy today.
Year Six House Captains gathered to lay a Wreath of Remembrance at our school memorial that was created by pupils in 2014 to mark the 100th Anniversary of the outbreak of World War One.
'They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.'
