West Bromwich MP, Sarah Coombes, visits Oakham!

We welcomed our local MP, the Rt Hon. Sarah Coombes, to Oakham today to meet children in Years Four, Five & Six in one of our special VIP assemblies.

 

Sarah shared her journey to becoming MP for West Bromwich, her role in Parliament and the constituency and the importance of democracy and her hopes for the future. 

 

We had an amazing Q&A session that covered a wide range of local and national subjects - our very own 'Question Time'!

 

Thanks again to Sarah for spending the morning with us and being part of our VE anniversary celebrations!
