Monday 14thJuly sees us celebrate Black Country Day at Oakham Primary. This date has been amended to allow Y2 children to participate after their trip to Edgmond Hall.
It's a free non-uniform day so children can come with painted faces, coloured hair, wear red, white and/or black coloured clothing, scouting association uniforms or Black Country football/sports team kits.
Children will be completing Black Country learning activities in classes during the school day to celebrate our local history and legacy.
It'll be a bostin’ day - Ta'ra a bit!
