On Thursday 1^st October, Oakham will once again be holding our Afternoon tea/coffee event in support of Macmillan Cancer Support. We would like to invite you, along with your friends and family, to join us for Afternoon Tea/coffee in our School Hall - doors will be open between 2.00pm and 3:15pm.

In preparation for the event, we are asking for cake and cookie donations please. We'd be thrilled to receive homemade cakes and will be serving these at the afternoon tea/coffee event. Shop bought cakes will be sold during children’s morning breaks, at a minimum cost of 50p, one cake per donation so it would be lovely if you would like to donate £1, but your child will only receive 1 cake. Children will be eating their cakes during the school day, so could you please let your child’s class teacher know if they have any special allergies or dietary requirements that we don’t already know about.

For any budding Paul Hollywood or Mary Berry bakers we would ask for you to complete an ingredients list please, so that we can make parents, carers and visitors aware of any items that may cause an allergic reaction.

Cakes and cookies can be delivered to class teachers during the week beginning 28^th September and any fresh cream and home baked cakes can be bought in on the morning of the cake sale, Thursday 1^st October.

This event will be a pay on the door, minimum of £3:00 per person for which you will get a drink and a delicious piece of cake, of your choice.

As well as the cake sale, we would like all children to wear something green for the day to show their support for the charity. This may be green hair or any item of green clothing they may have. Again, a donation towards the charity for this non-uniform day would be appreciated.
