During the next couple of weeks, all of our children in Reception, Key Stage One and Two will be participating in the NSPCC ‘PANTS’ training as part of our school’s ongoing Safeguarding curriculum. The session will be delivered during PSHE lessons using materials developed, specifically for use in schools, by the NSPCC and in assembly.

The ‘PANTS’ resources are age appropriate, feature a fun creature; ‘Pantosaurus’ and have been designed to help keep children safe by understanding that their bodies are private.

The NSPCC ‘PANTS’ training has been used effectively in numerous primary schools across the UK and we believe that this will further support the development of our children at Oakham and enable them to make the right decisions in helping to keep themselves safe.
