Year 2 are having a fantastic time at Edgmond Hall!

We’ve settled in brilliantly, explored our new surroundings, and wasted no time getting stuck into the exciting activities here at Edgmond. 

This afternoon, the children enjoyed pond dipping, where Grace and Amelia made a wonderful discovery – a mother newt and her baby! Meanwhile, other groups took part in team-building challenges, demonstrating excellent communication, cooperation and collaboration skills. 

After a busy afternoon, we have all enjoyed a delicious tea, followed by a much-appreciated ice cream treat - especially in this heat!! 

This evening, we’ll be heading into the woods in search of the famous Magic Wishing Tree. The children are full of excitement and enthusiasm, and we’re looking forward to a wonderful evening together.

We’ll share our next update in the morning after what we hope will be a restful night’s sleep for everyone... fingers crossed!
