LEARNING WALK June 2017
Following a recent Curriculum and Strategy Committee Meeting, committee members undertook a "Learning Walk" around School. Visits were made to classes in Early Years and Key Stages One and Two.
I think it's fair to say that all members were extremely impressed. Pupils in each class visited were absorbed in their learning, and levels of concentration and application to the task, particularly in KS2, were excellent. The "learning atmosphere," in classes was remarkable, and pupils were totally at ease in discussing their work and engaging with committee members. Teaching staff showed a calm, pleasant approach in maintaining control of their classes, and readily discussed the on-going curriculum activities in the classroom.
Thank you to the Staff and Pupils for tolerating our unexpected drop-ins!
